Friday in Sweden

Friday:   We started school 9.00. Everyone assembled in the music room were we had our last hours to say goodbye and have fun. Our principal Kristin said a few things about the week and she also said goodbye to them. Then we played some games, we played musical chairs, the sid shuffle. Then it was time to say goodbye to the group. They went to the buss and the suedes wave them goodbye. The suedes quit the school after that and got our sportbreak.  Julia/Hannes

Thursday in Sweden

Thursday On thursday we finished building our small miniature houses. And proceeded to present them to all of the other groups. When that was done we played some games and just had a fun time. We played musical chairs and the blinking game.  Then we all went home to eat something and prepare for the party we were going to have on the evening. At six o’clock we had to be back at school and ready to party. First the head teacher said some words to everyone being a part of the projekt. Then all of the kids went around talking to each other and eating some snacks.  Then a teacher took us in the the music room to teach every foreigner a new dance called the continental drift. Everyone enjoyed it and thought it was a fun activity to do.  Later we all went home and got ready for the students to go back to their countries the next day.

Wednesday in Sweden

Wednesday: We started the day with meeting in the music room and  the teachers presented what we were suppose to do later on the day. They send us to arrvas were Emelie and her brother had a presentation about sapmi and samerna. When we were done we went out on a orientation around the city and we had a few question from every country. When we were done with the all question we went to school and waited until it was lunch. After lunch we ice skate, ski and tobogganing on mattresses for the rest of the day.  Evelina/Isak

Tuesday in Sweden

TUESDAY At tuesday we start the day in the music room and had a workshop with Jonas about building materials. We got divided into groups and visit the Värmeverket and learn about how the heat go into the houses and how all of that works. Then we had Fika. After lunch we started with the housebuilding, we were divided into groups with one student from each country and got a country where the house was going to be. We ended the day with fika. Monday in Sweden

MONDAY Monday was the first day of the week, school started at 8.30 and then we had a welcome ceremony were we met the students and the teachers, the principal also said some words. Then we got to see a video about Arvidsjaur, we got divided into groups and the Swedish students gave the other students a tour of the school, Shone went over the the plan for the week and then we ate some fika which we did everyday. After the fika we had icebreaker activities that Johan and Ovllá had prepared. For lunch we ate blodpudding. Then we showed our presentation every country had made of how heating systems are in your country. Before we ended school on monday we had a workshop about the 5 R´s and how the affect us. Our trip home (Day 5)

On friday We went home. We left with the buss from the school at 10.00 together with the students from Denmark. We Said goodbye to the Danish students at the airport. We ate some food before we went on the airplane. Then we flew to Arlanda and then to Skellefteå. We came to Arvidsjaur around 20.00. Agnes/Isak

Day 4 in Latvia

On thursday the day began at 9 at school. During the day we had many group-works. We made posters and gave feedback on the week. Earlier in the week the Lithuanians gave the Latvian school a tree, the school had also bought a tree to plant as a reminder of the week. We planted them both by the school. We had lunch at the school-cafeteria. After school many of us went iceskating. Then most of us went home to prepare for the party. We met at school again att 6. Everyone said thank you to the school, ate food and played games. At 10 the Lithuanians left to go home so everyone said goodbye to them.  The we cleaned up a little and went home. This was the last day of a great week. Julia/Alva
