Back to nature for a sustainable future

Today we had our homework presentation. So every country presented what they have done for “homework”. Everyone had some great movies and presentation and good delivery. When everyone was finished we had Mac and cheese for lunch.  After lunch we did a group exercise in form of a quiz. The questions was based around the theme of the trip and around every country participating. For example there could be a question how old is Denmarks first national park.  When we finished the quiz we got two hours of spare time. So we all went with our hosts and had some quick activities. At 4 pm we all had to be back at the school to get on the bus that would take us to the bowling alley. There we spent the rest of our evening eating, bowling and talking to everyone. Then when we finished the bowling session we all went back with our hosts to be able to spend time with the families. Anton

Today we had some ice breaker activities we played a game where we were going to stand in an circle and one in the middle of the circle and one of those in the circle choose dance move and everybody made that move and the one in the middle we’re going to guess who made up the dance moves. We also had some speed dating to get to know each other’s. We went with some students around the school and showed us everything after a while we got a test about the school and we were going to take pictures of certain things. After that we had lunch. The lunch was much better then expected it was really good. We then went to Riga and their very beautiful old town. We got an exercise to search for specific things and take a picture of it. When we were done with that we spend some time just walking around in the old town. Then we went to a mall and had the chance to buy some stuff. Both of us liked it here in Ozolnieki and Riga and we really enjoyed this day so much and we got so many new friends....

23/5 - 2019 We forgot to blog this day so I’m making a post two days late. This day we started off at the school where we did activities in smaller groups, we printed out pictures that we had taken during the week and then we made a poster of it. Then after lunch we borrowed bikes from the school and then we went to another school pretty far away. On the way to that school we saw many beautiful things such as forests and big fields. On that other school they had a beachvolley-plan where we played in a tournament. The Swedish Team won every match except for one! But sadly, we couldn’t play in the final beacause our teachers played in our team. :(

Hello everybody! Today (21/5 2019) we went to a place called Stigie Island. This place used to be where they threw all the garbage in the late 60’s and 70’s. But in 1994 they decided to build something beautiful of it, they took about a metre of dirt and started groning grass on top of it so it created mountains! We ran around in different teams mixed Latvians, Lithuanians, Danish and Swedes. Afterwards we got Ice cream! We went to this place by bus and we were there until lunch time!

Idag har vi lekt lekar och lärt känna varandra, vi har även sett en presentation som eleverna har gjort om Danmark.

We are at Arlanda right now, the clock is 15:20 and at 15:40 we are going to eat at McDonald’s. I think everyone is already a bit tired and we have about half the day left. :( After we have eaten at McDonald’s we’re just going to wait until our plane leaves at 17:15.

Hello! We left the school to Skellefteå Airport at about 9:15 and right now the clock is almost 12:00 and we are sitting in our gate, our plane to Arlanda is leaving at 12:30. When we arrive to Arlanda, Stockholm we will grab something to eat and just chill! It’s predicted to arrive around 13:45. Our plane to Billund is leaving Arlanda at 17:15 so we have plenty of time to walk around and do whatever we want.
